Dr. Stocker brings her background as a Naprapath, cranial-sacral therapist and child psychologist to the treatment table. Her work is gentle, subtle and non-invasive for newborns and small children, as well as adults. Cranial-sacral therapy allows the body to unwind, which frees the movement of the life-giving cerebral spinal fluid that flows from the head through the spinal column, into the sacrum and back. By combining Naprapathic and cranial work, Elaine can help to normalize the body structure, allowing the body to function more fully, as it was genetically designed to do.

Elaine's passion and joy is her work with mothers and children. Her practice at Healing Hands includes focusing on mothers, pre- and postpartum mothers and on children with health challenges. Mothers and children in particular tend to respond very quickly to Elaine's therapeutic human touch.
Elaine often treats a child when the mother is nursing or playing with her child and it is not unusual to find the children so relaxed and at ease that they fall asleep on the table! Her preferred mode is to work as a teammate and colleague with the referring practitioner keeping in touch as treatment progresses. Please allow one hour per treatment.
